The University of Manchester will host Times Higher Education鈥檚 flagship from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 October 2024 as part of its bicentenary celebrations.
The event, which takes place at The University of Manchester, will focus on the theme: 鈥楳aking a difference: the role of universities in a rapidly changing world鈥.
The showcase higher education event will feature more than 100 speakers and 400 guests, bringing together thought leaders from across academia, policy, industry and civil society. The programme will consist of a mixture of keynote talks, panel discussions, seminars, case study conversations, practical workshops, best practice sharing and networking events.
The world鈥檚 most widely recognised, authoritative and prestigious ranking, 色盒直播鈥檚 World University Rankings 2025, will be launched at the event. See the results of 色盒直播鈥檚 World University Rankings 2024, which were released on 27 September here.听
The event will tackle key questions facing higher education, including:
- the importance of civic responsibility听
- driving innovation听
- collaboration within and between institutions听
- global impact for the common good听
