Ho Chi Minh University of Banking is a public university under the State Bank of Vietnam, established in 1976. Originally founded to support the development of Vietnam’s banking and financial sectors, the institution has evolved into a multidisciplinary university offering education across a range of business, economic, legal, and technology-related fields.
Since its founding, HUB has educated more than 50,000 graduates, including bachelors, masters, and doctoral degree holders who now work across the public and private sectors in Vietnam and internationally.
The university operates across three campuses in Ho Chi Minh City, providing students with access to both central business districts and modern educational facilities. Two campuses are located in District 1, the city’s commercial and administrative centre, while a larger campus is situated in Thu Duc City. Together, these campuses span more than 11 hectares and feature modern buildings, teaching facilities, and learning spaces that support the university’s academic and research activities.
There are seven undergraduate programmes available at the university: finance and banking, business administration, accounting, management information systems, international economics, economic law, and foreign languages.Ìý
