Morehouse College

Morehouse College is the largest men’s college in the United States, with over 2,000 students. 
The best known of Morehouse’s alumni is civil rights leader Dr Martin Luther King Jr. A statue of Dr King Jr stands on the Morehouse College campus, and the chapel is named after him. Other “Morehouse Men” include the director Spike Lee, the actor Samuel L Jackson and the author Howard Thurman. An obelisk in remembrance of Thurman stands next to the King Chapel.
26 majors are offered across three academic divisions: Business Administration and Economics, Humanities and Social Science and Science and Mathematics.
A liberal arts core curriculum is offered by Morehouse. Students take 53 semester hours of general education designed to provide a foundation in general knowledge, as well as to impart skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and leadership.
Over 80 student organisations are active at Morehouse College, ranging from fraternities to faith groups and debate team to dance troupes. The college athletics teams, known as Tigers, compete in football, baseball, track and field, basketball, cross country and golf.

Established in 2025, SGP aspires to be the leading global hub for governance and policy scholarship and education, rooted in Hong Kong’s unique role as a bridge between China and the world, empowering leaders across Asia and beyond with strategic insight, analytical rigor, and cross-sector collaboration. By fostering multidisciplinary knowledge, we aim to strengthen governance systems, enrich multilateral understanding, and drive transformative policy impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be expected to teach courses offered in postgraduate programmes related to international organizations, and/or global governance. He/She will also contribute actively to research and knowledge exchange, programme development at postgraduate level, and assume service and administrative responsibilities as appropriate.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in public policy, law, history, or a closely related field on social sciences and humanities. They should have teaching and research experience in any relevant specialism of international and regional organizations, public-private partnerships, and multilateralism to address economic and social policy challenges, especially in the Global South. They should also have a proven track record, or strong potential for research excellence, scholarly publications and securing competitive external funding.

What We Offer

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salary tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.

About the Role

Join a nationally significant NHMRC-funded research program focused on advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kidney health outcomes. As a Research Associate, you will contribute to impactful research that supports communities to design and implement evidence-based health interventions aimed at reducing the burden of chronic kidney disease. Working within Flinders University's Rural and Remote Health team in Darwin, you will collaborate with researchers, communities, and industry partners across regional, remote and national settings to deliver meaningful health outcomes.


	Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of research activities, including literature reviews, data collection, analysis and dissemination of findings.
	Support the successful delivery of project milestones and KPIs, including ethics and governance approvals, in collaboration with the broader research team.
	Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, industry partners and stakeholders across regional, rural and remote locations.
	Produce high-quality research outputs, including publications, presentations and contributions to future research funding opportunities.

About You

You are an emerging researcher with a passion for improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes through impactful, community-centred research. With a background in public health, Indigenous health or a related discipline, you bring strong research skills, experience working across diverse stakeholder groups, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes that contribute to meaningful change in regional, rural and remote communities.

You will bring:


	Progress towards, or completion of, a PhD in public health, Indigenous health, or a related health discipline, with demonstrated research experience.
	Knowledge and experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research methodologies and culturally responsive approaches to research.
	Strong project management skills, with the ability to achieve milestones, critically review literature, and contribute to publications and presentations.
	Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with communities, industry partners, and multidisciplinary research teams across regional, rural and remote settings.

About the Opportunity

The School of Business and Law is seeking a Lecturer in Law to join its growing law discipline at City Campus in the heart of Perth's CBD.
