Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country (with the exciting opportunity to work across multiple campuses) View Position Description ​About the Flinders HealthCare Centre The Flinders HealthCARE Centre (FHC) is a multidisciplinary education, research, and healthcare facility located at the heart of Flinders Village and co-funded by the Australian Government and Flinders University. Scheduled to open in 2029, FHC will support the delivery of approximately 1,300 additional health graduates and up to 10,000 additional episodes of health and community care annually, bringing together education, research, and health and community services to enable new models of care, innovative use of technology, and transformative learning. About the Program  The Program supports the establishment and activation of the FHC, working across the Colleges of Health and Enablement (CHE), Medicine and Public Health (CMPH), and Human Sciences and Culture (CHSC). With support from central services, the Activation team is structured across four workstreams and five enabling streams to support the design of an innovative interprofessional curriculum, underpinned by a newly defined clinical services model and contemporary simulation practices. The Program will also focus on co-designing health services in partnership with government and industry partners. About the Role Join us as our Program Coordinator for the activation of the Flinders HealthCare Centre, one of several new opportunities to join us as we build our Program Team, offering an exciting opportunity to be a part of a high performing team who are shaping the development of the iconic, state of the art Flinders HealthCare Centre. As the Program Coordinator, you will provide operational and administrative support to the Flinders HealthCare Centre Activation Program. The role is responsible for coordinating and managing workstreams, ensuring information flows effectively through governance structures, and supporting accurate reporting, timely follow-up of actions, and delivery of key program outcomes. A snapshot of the tasks you will have the opportunity to contribute to are listed below: Maintaining accurate and current program registers (actions, risks, issues, decisions and dependencies), escalating emerging items through appropriate governance channels. Drafting, reviewing and coordinating high-quality program documentation (status reports, dashboards, briefing notes, communications and presentations), ensuring version control and consistency of messaging. Monitoring and reporting progress against milestones, benefits and deliverables; track follow-up actions and support timely closure of items. Supporting readiness, change and transition activities across streams, including stakeholder engagement, communications coordination and tracking of change impacts. This position makes a significant contribution to the University’s strategic plan to changing 10 million lives, Every One Matters, by 2035 through the strategic drive of Students First. This enabling role will play a pivotal part in the successful development and launch of the Flinders HealthCare Centre; a centre designed to offer modern, simulation training facilities that enhance student workforce readiness and strength their impact when entering as practitioners. About You You will bring a tertiary qualification and relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and demonstrated workplace experience. You have proven experience in project coordination and the implementation of change initiatives, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in complex environments. Your high-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills enable you to build effective relationships, negotiate outcomes, and communicate confidently with people at all organisational levels. You demonstrate sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, and approach sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion. You will also be able to demonstrate: Exceptional organisational, coordination and time management skills in complex environments. Excellent written communication and document management capability. Experience in independent and effective management of project planning supporting governance processes. Strong commitment to project delivery and communication regarding project status and updates. As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. This role supports the Future Ship and System Design (FSSD) Programme, which aims to accelerate the decarbonisation and digitalisation of Singapore’s maritime sector. The project focuses on developing planning methods to support the electrification of harbour craft fleets, using real-world operational data to derive charging demand profiles and infrastructure recommendations. As part of this work, we are seeking a Research Fellow to lead the development of a user-friendly GUI tool that will enable stakeholders to interact with planning models and visualise simulation outputs. The RF will also support increasing coordination between different projects as the number of case studies and incoming datasets continues to grow. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop a GUI tool to make model inputs/outputs accessible to end-users Collaborate with project leads and researchers to ensure technical accuracy of the interface Support integration of simulation outputs across Projects 3-1 and 3-2 Manage and process large sets of operational data for case study analysis Contribute expertise in power grid optimisation to enhance planning models Participate in stakeholder engagements and respond to evolving technical needs Job Requirements: A strong background in power systems, energy modelling, or grid optimisation Proficiency in GUI development (e.g. using Python Dash, Tkinter, or web-based frameworks) Experience working with data-driven simulation and model validation in power grids (Ph.D level is mandatory) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Prior exposure to maritime or transport-related electrification studies is a plus
