University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Research Fellow in Chemical Engineering (OUTSOURCED) in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Your Responsibility The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to research team in conducting academic research and essential support functions, including literature searches, drafting proposals, translation, conducting surveys, performing analyses and tests, and drafting manuscripts/reports. To take the lead on, plan, develop, and conduct individual and/or collaborative research in the area of material chemistry (e.g., corrosion inhibitor, coatings, batteries, supercapacitors, etc) and regularly disseminate and explain research findings through publication in reputable peer-reviewed journal outlets (on a sustained basis), conferences, and other appropriate media To identify opportunities and assist in writing bids for research grant applications. Prepare proposals and applications to both external and/or internal bodies for funding, contractual, or accreditation purposes. To build active relationships and collaboration with internal and external industries/companies, to jointly initiate/execute research projects, and to advance the research activities of the group. To participate in the supervision of Master's and Doctoral students. To manage and ensure the safety of the working laboratory space and environment. To participate in training and staff development events as trainer or trainee as appropriate. To maintain appropriate professional development, expertise and awareness. To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required. About You Candidates must have a PhD degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferable in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese, and high analytical ability to analyse and illuminate data, interpret reports, evaluate and criticise texts, and bring new insights are necessary. Evidence of sufficient breadth or depth of research methodologies and techniques to work in the research area of chemistry and chemical engineering are also essential. Location: Plant Physiology Laboratory, AgroBioSciences, College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Morocco Position Summary The Plant Physiology Laboratory at UM6P is seeking a motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our Plant Stress Physiology team investigating molecular mechanisms underlying plant physiological responses to environmental stress. The successful candidate will work at the interface of molecular biology, physiology, and omics technologies to dissect regulatory networks in model and/or crop plants. Key Responsibilities Design and execute experiments to study molecular and physiological processes in plants. Utilize tools such as proteomics, and metabolomics. Analyze plant phenotypes under controlled and stress conditions Present findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Assist in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. Contribute to grant writing and project development. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Plant Physiology, or related field. Strong background in molecular biology techniques Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Knowledge of bioinformatics tools for transcriptomic or proteomic data analysis. Experience in physiological assays (e.g., photosynthesis, chlorophyll fluorescence, hormone quantification). Join the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS) as a Rehabilitationist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of cochlear implant and auditory implant users. You will have a unique opportunity to further your career by using your clinical skills within a University setting allowing you to access up-to-date research in this field.  Speech and Language Therapists and Hearing Therapists are encouraged to apply for this post. This is a part-time permanent post (28 hours/week). As a Rehabilitationist, you will play a vital role in helping patients adapt to and optimise their auditory implants. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll provide specialist rehabilitation, guiding patients through their hearing journey.
