University of Halabja is a public university formed by the provincial government of Kurdistan in 2010. It was accredited by Iraq’s national Ministry of Higher Education in 2020. The university is divided across its main city centre campus and the School of Education established at Sharazoor in 2019, where just over 500 students study either Kurdish early years education or human development. The largest of the Halabja schools is basic education. Other schools include law and administration, human sciences, science, physical education and sports science and engineering.

Work that matters The School of Psychology is seeking a clinical or health Psychology clinic supervisor. This role is located at our Adelaide University Health Clinic based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. The successful candidate will provide clinical oversight, assessment, and support, including running individual and group-supervision sessions, for students undertaking a placement as part of the Master of Psychology (Clinical and Health) programs at Adelaide University.  The team This role involves working within a small supervision team, and working in co-ordination with adjoining private clinic, and with other disciplines, to develop and deliver the highest quality placement experience to best prepare the next generation of psychologists. While the successful candidate will not have their own client load, we are looking for an experienced clinician with demonstrated skills providing flexible and tailored psychological therapy for a broad range of client presentations. Your Responsibility The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to research team in conducting academic research and essential support functions, including literature searches, drafting proposals, translation, conducting surveys, performing analyses and tests, and drafting manuscripts/reports. Key Competencies Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python and C++), and familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch). Self-directed learner who believes in continuous learning and development. Proficient in technical writing and presentation. Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
